My roses have transplant shock - will they bounce back?

Has anyone had to move well established rose bushes before?

Mine were moved over a week ago and despite watering etc. they still look wilted. I’m tempted to cut them right back but wondered if that would add the shock?

I moved one and it sulked for a year. Droopy, didn't grow leaves , just retained the leaves it had and no flowers. It did bounce back eventually and it flowered as well as the others.

I moved 5 last year for garden malke over, but I did it in Winter. I think I would prune them well this year and I am sure they will come back. They are tough old birds.

I’m tempted just to prune them. We had lots of rain over the last day or so and the leaves are still crispy! I was hoping they may rehydrate

Give them a prune and keep them well watered and they will be fine. Might not flower so well this year.
