So upset

I don’t usually post here but I’m so upset and need some sympathy.

Our “gardeners” have just been and lopped both of our weeping trees to about shoulder height, despite being specifically asked earlier on the year to leave them alone. I’m really upset and disappointed. They obviously don’t understand anything about trees. Surely it’s obvious that a weeping tree should trail down towards the ground.

Is there any chance they might recover this year? I think I am going to have to find new gardeners.

That is awful especially if you told them not to touch them, why did they cut them back, I would ask them for an explanation. I'm guessing they will continue to grow but am not an expert, definately find new gardeners and I would ask for a refund of some sort.

What weeping trees are they?

How did you recruit them? Have any of them got any qualifications?

wormery · 04/05/2018 17:29

There is a website about pruning weeping willows which I just looked up.

Crinkly willow and a weeping birch

They did the same last year so I mentioned it in Feb, the owner promised it would be ok

It’s so hard to get people round here

I’d love someone to design and maintain flowers
I have no skills in gardening but I would love to see flowers
