Weathered teak garden furniture

I hope this is in the right place.

We've managed to buy, second hand, a lovely teak table and chair set. It's that old grey colour that happens with teak. The guy said he'd never oiled it because he'd heard conflicting advice. I really want to spruce it up a bit but Google has made my head spin when looking for advice.

So what would be the best product and way to do it? I'm not expecting it to look brand new but maybe oil it?

Any advice gratefully received because the last time I tried to revive an old wooden, donated set went hideously wrong and it ended up chopped up and at the tip.

I always used teak oil on my old set. Very satisfying watching it soak into the wood (but that may be down to my weirdness).

Ive got teak garden furniture which I've had for 15 years. Every spring I power wash it, leave it to dry then apply teak oil. It looks fantastic. Not like new but well cared for

Ive just sorted mine out. I washed it with sugar soap and hot water, using a brush and then sprayed and scrubbed with Astonish mound and milder cleaner. Rinsed with hose before and after and then left in sun to dry before applying Teak Oil. I applied three coats and left each to dry.

Thank you for all the advice. I guess this glorious weekend is going to be taken up restoring furniture then.
