Can anyone help me? One tray the seedlings are hairy on the stalk - are they the butternut squash? The others aren't hairy.

the green ones are cucumbers

the orange ones are butternut squash

my cucumber seedlings don't appear to be hairy but they are still very small.

I'll check tonight if our squash are hairy - don't have cucumbers though

Lol at Twiglett.

I need to know which bed to plant which in before they start fruiting

oh thank goodness.

I have mixed up the lettuce, cucumber and tomato.

I think the tomato plants are the tallest ones.

NONE of the plants are hairy so I reckon your cucumbers are the non hairy ones.

cucumber seedlings

actually, have just gone to look at mine and there are some fine hairs on the stalk bit - but they look like that picture

Sounds like the hairy ones are the squash then. Thanks ladies.
