Honey fungus hell!!

I have just found honey fungus in my garden - in four separate areas, with my two year old apple trees bang in the middle!
What do I do??? I don't think there's any chemical control for HF, is there? Am I going to lose my beloved trees?? Sad

Apparently there is no chemical eradication. Digging up the affected area/plant and burning is suggested.
There are several fungi in the Honey fungus family, I don’t think they are all as lethal. Maybe google and identify your type.
Some plants are resistant to it, so maybe not all bad news.

We used to use Armillatox which is Jeyes Fluid. It is now banned for this purpose. Whatever you do don't google it to show you how it might help the problem.

Are you sure that it is honey fungus, did you see the black spaghetti laces? Because, and I hope there is a chance, that it is a similar looking autumnal fungus but not the dreaded honey.
