I work full time in a school and have completely neglected both front and back gardens as no time. I'm off on leave now till Sept so want to overhaul both. This morning I've done the front. It's not too bad, but I thought of a hanging basket or pots to bring instant colour and realised I'm too late, aren't I?

I'd go and buy a ready planted one from the garden centre, all full and nicely established. Bam - instant colour.

I seen some lovely ready planted ones in Homebase yesterday.

Thanks, I'll go and have a look.

Got a couple of lovely planters which should flower through till October. And a hanging fuschia. Just got to remember to water them daily - I'm no good with containers as I look at them out the window and go "oh, they'll be ok for Another day." They don't usually last long!

Yup that's me too. They always die because I waited that extra day...............

A great idea for hanging baskets - and very on trend, dahhling - is succulents. They come in various shapes and sizes and seldom need watering.
