Question about Cotoneaster Lacteus

I bought this at a nursery yesterday as I want some evergreen for Winter for my garden.
The lady I bought it from commented on how beautiful it is, red berries, ever green for all round interest etc.

I have it planted now but have just noticed on the tag that it says 'deciduous'. I just presumed cotoneaster were evergreen but have I bought a different variety? Can anyone say what deciduous will mean - what will it lose in the Winter?
The nursery is an hour from my home so I don't particularly want to go back.

Thank you

Deciduous means the plant will lose all its leaves for the winter, and grow new ones in spring. Some Cotoneaster are deciduous and some, including C lacteus, are evergreen.

I would ring the nursery for clarification. Maybe they have mislabelled the plants, maybe you have got another variety.

Thank you for reply. I don't think it is mis labelled, as it states the name, instructions, etc, (in 4 or 5 languages, hence how I missed it at the nursery with my toddler running around beside me). I've googled, and like you said as well, they can be deciduous.
I also bought some escallonia which I know are evergreen, so at least I have those.
