Tree identification

This is an image from Google. The tree is much bigger now, about five times the size of the picture.

It's in the front garden of a house near me.

I thought it's a weeping variety as the branches all droop down. It's so pretty.

Any ideas please?

Leaves are silvery green.

Ignore me!

I think it's a weeping silver pear!

My first guess would be a Russian Olive.

Looks to me like a weeping silver pear. Get a leaf or two and check with an on line tree identifier or tree nursery picture. The silver pesrcshoild have small white flowers in the spring.

They grow up to about 10 ft but should thicken up and weep down to the ground with silver/pale green leaves. They are not suitable for front gardens if the weeping overhangs a path but they can be trimmed and thinned out to keep them in shape and neat.

Yes you are right OP weeping pear

Thank you everyone. The tree in question isn't that high but is lovely and full, very pretty especially if there is a bit of a breeze. I've knocked a couple of times but they've been out.

I fancy it for my garden!
