Its a variety of succulent - or water storage - plant.

Google it - not sure of the specific variety but I believe they are pretty undemanding to care for.

you can also propogate from the leaves - and have lots of them.

Very easy to care for, likes bright light and little water - it's easily overwatered especially if the pot doesn't have drainage holes.

It's an Echeveria (native to Mexico). It seems to be planted in a glass jar with no drainage holes, and strange potting mix, so ideally it would be best to remove it, potting it into a normal plant pot using a very gritty mix of JI compost. Keep it on your sunniest windowsill, and only water it when the potting mix is dry - about once a week in the summer, and only once a month in winter. It may reward you with a flower spike which will appear between the leaves near the crown, and develop into a "shepherd's crook" stem with bell-shaped flowers, usually pink or orange.

Thank you! I think I will repot it and possibly grow more.

Once it's growing happily, it will produce little plantlets around the base, which you can gently separate from the plant and pot on.

I have one in moss and Iv had it for a couple of years and it's growing just fine.
Anytime Iv repotted usung succulent compost and plenty of drainage they die Hmm

I have one of these - good to know you can propagate fairly easily
