Brand new turf and sprinkler advice please

Hi,
I've got a brand new lawn, after a hideous old one. We've spent a lot of money on it and want to ensure we really look after it.

It's been tricky in the past due to clay soil and poor drainage.

So we've had it all dug out, drainage put in, new soil, turf, etc.

We've just been watering and mowing so far, but I think we ought to be looking at seeding and feeding?

Not sure though, and not sure what products to use if so?

And also, I want to get a really good sprinkler that covers a lot of ground.

Does anyone have any advice on these please?

Thanks so much in advance!

You can get a lawn builder from amazon to spread on. (Have just had a new lawn laid here and it's my plan for every 6 months.) Looking at our grass I can't really see that there'll be a need to seed it (is pristine) and our last lawn (which we also laid new from turf) didn't ever need it.

We had ours done in March, and the advice from our garden guy was to water it every day for three weeks, then every other day for several months. It has developed a few dry looking patches but on the whole that seems to have worked, and we haven't seeded or fed it at all. We do mow with the grass collector off so that the clippings remain on the lawn (not every time, maybe one mow in 3) as well.

We have company come and treat our lawn four times a year (different treatments depending on the season), costs £23 per treatment. They gave us advice specific to our lawn when we had the lawn extended and turfed.

Our lawn has never looked better, used to be full of clover and very sparse where a dodgy landscaper threw seed over clay soil without removing the large stones first!

Only reason I suggest this is that you said it has cost you a lot of money, would be a shame to ruin it by putting the wrong stuff down (I wouldn't have a clue!)
