Did anyone watch the segment yesterday with Kelly Brook?

Serious garden envy, I would love a garden with a laburnum arch (or any garden really, damn flat!)

My lovely gardener Adam won a gold medal.

I'm fascinated by the coppery bronzy flowers in the Sipsmith garden. Maybe it's time to go copper. Or will they just look brown and sludgy?

Went on members day, for the first time, loved it. The Sip Smith garden was gorgeous but very carefully coordinated. Most gardens were very safe I thought, cottagy and n most were purple and white, Sylvia's by the thousand, and foxgloves. But that is good cos they showed how ordinary plants can look stunning. Poets garden was lovely as was the Japanese man with 9th gold?? Would def go again but so expensive! Flowers

Is members day quieter? I had a really nice time but I was on a coach which arrived at 11 and left at 1630. It was so busy I could hardly get near the show gardens. I did notice by 4 the pavilion was much quieter. I was with a group which in retrospect we should have split up and done our own thing but we were all too worried about getting lost Grinit's not that big so we were being daft! I was underwhelmed by the best in show garden though ( the only one not to have throngs of people round it! )

I went on Friday and had a great time but the gardens were definitely under par - fewer and less inspiring then when I last went a few years ago.

There was definitely a growing weeds thing in the show gardens, with which other people I nattered to seemed to be in agreement.
