About 5/6 foot tall in a container. Does anyone have any ideas?

Yes, it didn't recover.
Also, I planted a honeysuckle close to it and it did take over a bit, so that didn't help.
It is a shame.

Awww, I hate losing plants. ☹️ Luckily we're quite sheltered here, although I did go through a phase of losing Lupins so didn't persevere with those.
