Complete novice with many questions! Red robin help!

I've just started to plant pots up in my garden (no flower beds, so has to be in pots) and have a lovely red robin, but since re-potting it's looking a little sad! I've googled a bit, but can't seem to find how much sun it needs. At the moment it's at the front of the house that only gets around 4 hours sun a day, is that enough or shall I move it? Is it just "settling in?" Shall I feed it some blood, fish & bone stuff? Does it need pruning (I don't even know how to do that!!) advice gratefully accepted!

We are enjoying near drought conditions and potted/containerised plants rely on us for their water unless the rain has been biblical. Give it regular water plus a feed and see what happens.

Thanks, I'll try that! Any tips which feed is best or does it not really matter?

I use bonemeal (roots) and sulphate of potash (flowers) in Spring and half way through Summer but really you can use any balanced fertilizer. Growmore 777 is ok but don't overdose!

Though they are evergreen they have a sort of "moult" in spring and shed a whole load of big old leaves at once. There should be new red leaves coming. Four hours sun is enough. They are very tolerant. Keep it moist (not sopping wet) and wait and see
