When to plant out

I've never posted in here, but I'm someone might have more of an idea than me.

We have a fairly large veg patch. We have established fruits as they're more economical and easy to maintain, we have redcurrants, blackcurrants, blackberries, raspberries and strawberries. We also have a herb bath (using our old cast iron bath) with sage, thyme, chives, parsley and rosemary. All absolutely fine. Every year I grow carrots and parsnips without issue.

2 years ago I planted pumpkins, germinated indoors and then planted out (can't remember when though) and had quite a nice crop, so I repeated last year and only had 2 plants that survived and produced 2 pumpkins. I have germinated indoors this year again, and they are sufficiently big that they are outgrowing the 15cm pots. Any ideas when I should take the plunge and plant them out? I do have frost sheets if that helps.

Additionally every year I let my son choose some veg to grow. This year we have runners beans, which are also outgrowing the 15cm pots, same question for these really.

And finally we are growing cucumbers. I have very little knowledge, does anyone know how many fruits a single plant bears? Or how big the plants will be? I have about 30 in pots, and will be thinning out, but any advise would be greatly appreciated.

It really depends where in the country you are. I'm in the north west and I'm just starting to harden stuff of now to go in weekend after next probably, unless there's a last frost shown.

Anything tender like pumpkins or runners would struggle on my plot now as it's windy and exposed. My back garden is v sheltered and sunny and might just be ok.

So harden off and put on plot with cloches or fleece as weather is forecast to improve.

Also, I usually get a good crop of pumpkins, last year I got nothing!

I would say it is colder this year (v cold east wind here in the middle of the UK) so wouldn't plant out yet. Give it a week or so and then cover up with fleece but it will depend on whether you are up a mountain or on the coast, north or south.
I have one cucumber plant to provide enough cucumbers for the two of us, I'm not a great fan, and it grows up a 3 foot wire frame along the inside glass wall of the greenhouse. Perhaps pass on some of yours to neighbours or put at gate with jar for charity??

I'm actually in Germany, we're not forecast any frost for at least the next 2 weeks, and looking back on various stuff, the weather has been fairly consistent the last few years, we're forecast temps of between 14-18 degrees lows of 4 overnight. Our garden is quite large and gets the sun all day, the veg plot is sort of bookended by trees, so it's possibly one of the less windy spots.

We have a rhubarb plant that just would not die of, so it continues to grow, none of us like it, so we give that to the neighbours, but most people here have their own veggie plots so it's oddly quite hard to give anything away.

We have the rhubarb that will not die as Well! But have found we like rhubarb vodka and also rhubarb and date crumble or with strawberries.
