I have lots of self seeded young plants where I don't want them.

can I put them somewhere else?

Yes you should be able to move them fairly easily. Obviously keep them out of reach of any children, so near the middle or back of your beds but they should transplant fine.

the dc are one of the reasons to move them. most are in the strawberry patch...

I just dig them up and plonk them back in where I want them. They seem to thrive on it. I have loads which should have been done in autumn....ah well!

tbh I think they are foxgloves, but have also comfrey and alkanet in the garden which look similar at this stage.
I guess I will see if I take them up. do foxgloves have big roots?

well, they have a wide flattish root , not that deep.
Its too dark now, but if I get the chance, I will pop out tomorrow and take a picture of them for you :)

well, I put mine in the compost bin :) the stem is a little woody, but okay basically

here you go - very frosty still - only out here with DGS to sort out bird water :)
