I have just started my own gardening round in stepney green east london .I charge £8.50 is this to much.I do all my work with hand tools no pesticides or chemicals .Usaully ask customers if they have thier own mower .This is because i tend to walk to the jobs or use publictransport

Where abouts are you am in london i walk to most of my jobs or public transport .Do all weeding by hand tools and hedgecutting do not use pesticides .The only thing i ask of customers is if they require grasscutting they provide a lawnmower.Iwork hard at it as am not getting paid much so it is in my interest to be quick

I work with Age Concern in Surrey and the standard charge is £12 per hour if you use the client's tools, £15 if you bring your own. You do have to have DBS which you pay for yourself. £8.50 does sound cheap.

Maybe i should get a job job with age concern in east london then.I take all my own hand tools only ask the customers to provide a mower.This is because i travel by foot or public transport to jobs.Even though am only charging £8.50 still a bit slow. I always do good job and are thoughrough asw ell as value for money. Things still a bit slow even though i only charge £8.50 maybe people in east london are skint
