What plants make you heart sing?

I love all the plants in my garden. But there are a few that get my heart beating faster.
If you HAD to choose, what are your favorite plants in your garden and why?

Russian sage
incredibly beautiful, no care needed, pest and disease proof.

bonariensis Ciburnum bonariensis. Still going strong and every time I go down the path to the car it catches my eye and I can't quite believe how brightly the colour sings against the green behind it. Bobs around in the wind, needs no staking. Breathtaking against the sky looking out the front window as well.
I also love Mexican fleabane, although haven't got around to planting any yet.
