the mortar between our patio slabs is wearing away and I'd like to grow something to fill in the gaps

At the moment we have a less than attractive mix of moss, grass and various weeds growing here and there.

I'd like to plant something - but what to use??

It'll have to be short, because the boys use the patio all the time and anything sticking its head up is going to get stomped on Grin so I'd like something low growing. Most of the patio is in the sun, but some of it is in the shade for a good part of the day.

Does anyone have any ideas? Has anyone done this successfully?

Oooohh...there are some LOVELY plants on there. Are they a reasonable size and in good condition?

Yes, I've had loads of deliveries now and there's not one where I've felt let down. They are usually in 9-10cm pots but at the top end of that, so decently sized - most I've had are strong to the point of being ever so slightly potbound, so in need of repotting or putting straight into the garden. Not one thing I've had from there has struggled or died.

They come extremely well packaged in large cardboard boxes too. SO exciting when they arrive!!

Chamomile?

I've signed up...no idea where I will squeeze things but I cannot resist

I've heard of camomile for a lawn, shall look at it for patio gaps.

I've just had a delivery from the Secret Gardener - lovely cardboard box just like shove says, and good sized plants. Very pleased Smile so think I will be back there again, praps to get the annual pass this time.
