Am I going to regret planting raspberries in a large mixed raised bed?

Just bought some Autumn raspberries - excited about lack of pruning as have summer ones at the moment. I was just about to plant them in the back of a big raised bed where I grow all my salad etc and read about how invasive they are. Am I about to unleash a raspberry plague on my growing space?

I did those at the start last year and they offered a six week reminder/reorder I will try that ate the first of my purple sprouting broccoli yesterday Grin

Well- I divided the canes and planted them in the bed. I will be the woman next year going 'please help me remove rampant raspberry canes' and it will be nobody's fault but my own. Enjoy your broccoli- sounds lovely. I can't plant anything more interesting than Spring onion seeds now as we are away from home for 2 months from next month and anything I put in needs to be self sufficient. Thank you for the advice - even the bits I have foolishly ignored.

Good luck! And if you end up with tons of fruit you can always leave it for the birds make seedless raspberry jam - far superior to anything you could buy. Or raspberry wine requires a couple of kilos to the gallon and (in my experience) never fails Grin.
