So I thought I would ask what gardens you fond most inspiring to visit?

Here are mine
Sissinghurst in June
Great Dixter in Spring
Regents Park rose garden
Hidcote- for the lavender!
Knoll gardens

Laura - I am jealous of your Beth Chatto visit! The garden centre there beckons me to bankruptcy every time I visit!

Maud - I went to Alnwick Castle too at the weekend. I really liked the whole concept of the poison garden, and it got the kiddiewinkies in the tour really enthused and interested. The bamboo labyrinth was a wonderful thing too.

I'm adding that Irish garden to my list...

Ferguson - yep, I think so! Gives a few ideas of what it's like, anyway. It's annoying not to be able to show the pictures but I do sort of see why they are doing it - I suppose that when you are a concrete poet, your copyright is in images really. And it is a bit weird seeing lots of tombstone-like stones out of context!
