Help! Can't get my new patio clean!

Hello, I really hope someone has come across this problem and has found a solution. We have recently had an imprinted concrete patio laid and it looked amazing but, having been busy moving planters into position, and crossing the lawn to do so, the area has mud stains and they won't shift!!! My husband is beyond fed up with it after using the pressure washer several times and scrubbing with a yard brush and soapy water. Is this how it's going to be? Am SO disappointed! Any suggestions would be a great help - thank you.

I am really sorry that I may have posted in the wrong forum but I hoped gardeners would perhaps be the people to have come across this particular problem - I do hope someone can help me ?

I think you can buy chalky paste stuff for removing oil marks from granite work tops. You leave it on in a thick layer for a day or so and it absorbs the grease.
Maybe something similar like floortile/worktop cleaner might work.

Thank you - I can certainly try it. Can't believe that ordinary garden mud is so difficult to clean - wouldn't recommend grey imprinted concrete to anyone!

Would white vinegar work?

Apparently spreading cheapo bio washing powder on patio, leaving it and then hosing it off cleans them up nicely - but his might only tackle moss.
Have you tried phoning the people who sold you the concrete stones? Maybe they have a magic solution?

Thank you both for taking the time to answer. It is just imprinted concrete not stones but I have just contacted the man who laid it and he says the best thing is a strong solution of F*y washing up liquid. I now suspect that a lot of the dusty muddy residue is actually washing off the slate chippings my husband edged the patio with :( They probably should have been washed thoroughly before being used - phew! what a load of hassle this is proving to be. Thanks all.
