Following from the other thread, can we do the opposite? What are you really pleased with?
For me it is the blue perennial geranium that I planted (think it might have been Johnson's Blue, but can't quite remember). It has flowered and flowered and flowered. Also the Erysimum 'Bowles's Mauve which I grew from cuttings (my first attempt!)... which has also flowered endlessly.
I'm always looking for things that flower for ages ... so any suggestions gratefully received!

Roses definitely! Had a great year and still going strong Smile

Also had beautiful cherry blossom in the spring and the ceonothus looked stunning earlier in the year. Had flowers on my camellia for the first time ever too!

Been a bit dull in my garden of late. Need to work on getting some more late flowering plants for next year!

Blackberries and sunflowers have been a delight today. We are very van Gogh today with a huge vase full of different varieties.

Blackberries are less ornamental but hugely productive. I now have two bottles of blackberry vodka and two of blackberry syrup. This just from the fruit I picked today.

Roses esp my Souvenir du Dr Jamain, lavender has gone bonkers (although first time had a prob with rosemary beetle), cistus and geraniums have all had a good year this year. And the tulips earlier this year too.
