How to keep a nice lawn with children and a dog?

I have a small garden. About 10'X15'. Raised bed and the back, small paved section and a path up the middle with grass on both sides. Previous tenants had a shed in one corner which has left a big brown patch of soil. Also dog pee leaves dead brown patches and DCs playing has made worn down patches .

So how do i restore it to good health and get an even green lawn. And how to prevent it going bad again?

All advice welcome.

Put some soil and seed on the bare patch and don't let anyone stand on it for months. Including the dog.

Dog pee patches are inevitable, you'll always be fighting that one! Just keep your grass feed/ seeding and shifting the dog onto a new patch if they start destroying one area.

Alternatively train the dog to go in one particular area and just write it off.

You get artificial grass. Some of it is fantastic. I love ours, now we have a beautiful even green lawn despite footballing boys and a springer spaniel.

We use lawnhopper, they treat the lawn four times a year, it's transformed our lawn. Think there are lots of different companies that do the same.
