Christmas gift for Garden mad DH

We've got a new garden & DH is delighted. He only likes practical gifts (in the past wheel barrow, hedge trimmer, posh loppers) but I'm a bit stuck for this year.
I bought him a fruit tree for his birthday in September.
Any ideas, preferably something very useful?

Apple picker on an extending pole for when the fruit tree takes off? (See Wolfgarten tools). Perhaps it wasn't an apple tree? Sounds like he'd be pleased with ANY Wolfgarten tool.

Oh, thank you.
Yes it's an apple, what a fab idea.
I'm off to google Wolfgarten tools.
Thanks

Membership of RHS is a fab present for any garden lover. The monthly magazine is great and you get free access into loads of historic and beautiful gardens.

Rhubarb, great idea but DM had the same one! Thanks though.

I adore my Wolfgarten push pull weeder and would be lost without it at the allotment. Felco secateurs spring to mind as well, you can't beat them. Or a wooden trug to collect his apples in or wooden crate to store them in? Nice seed storage tin.

Or if he is into growing tomatoes, peppers and chillis Autopots are excellent as you only need to water every few days at the height of the summer instead of daily and I've had huge tomato plants from mine. A heated propagator if he likes growing from seed. A patio greenhouse or cold frame for hardening off. Potting table, again if he likes growing from seed or cuttings.
