There is a trellis on the wall outside my back door. Was thinking it would be nice to have something growing on it. It would have to go in a pot, and as we live in a region with a drought order need little water, would quite like something scented, anyone got any ideas?

Jasmine or Honeysuckle are both nice and are scented.Clematis is also very pretty but not too sure if there are too many scented varieties,so may be a tad difficult to find.hth.

hiya,

Probably a bit late to respond to your question. But i'll give it a go.

I have just this year planted Akebia quinata in my garden. It's common name is the chocolate vine, because in the summer it has flowers that smell like chocolate. That's my kind of plant. Mine has no flowers on it as yet but am sure ny next year it will have loads. It is fast growing and doesn't need too much water. Hope this helps.
