Our lovely new (huge) garden has loads of wildlife and garden birds in it.
Around the boundaries are trees and shrubs, then within this boundary is a rough/wilderness kind of a margin.
I'm concerned that if I just ignore/abandon the nettles, goosegrass, etc. They will just run wild and become uncontrollable. But the animals do like this kind of habitat.
Any tips? What should I dig out? Cut down occasionally? Anything that I can plant which will be more manageable?
