Stone the crows! How can I get rid?

We have several tall trees at the bottom of our garden and over the last few years we've had one or two
Crows nests appear, which hasn't caused us any bother, but this year we've noticed more are nesting and it's
Now causing a nuisance. Any tips on how to safely and
Humanely get rid? I've heard the sonic bird scarers don't work brilliantly with crows as they don't hear that frequency of sound well.
Thanks

Not sure how to get rid of them, but just to make you aware, it's a criminal offence to disturb nesting birds or any species, under the Wildlife and Countryside Act of 1981.

Can you just learn to live with them? What sort of nuisance are they causing?

We've learned to live with them to an extent, but the numbers are growing and the nuisance is noise and mess- not just droppings but they leave an
Unbelievable mess from the nest building. Am happy to wait until the nesting season is past but any ideas on how to prevent them
Nesting again in future?
Not keen to lop our trees down tbh from
The environmental perspective

Apparently if you tie up cd's they don't like the shine that is given off them. I haven't tried this but a friend was telling me about it and I googled it too....

Fair enough - I'm really not sure what to suggest though. Hope you figure something out.

I suspect CDs in the trees once this year's fledglings have gone may be your best (and possibly only legal) bet, but whether that's practicable in the very tall tress that crows prefer, I don't know. Maybe contact the RSPB or local wildlife trust for advice?
