crazy broad beans

I have sown (not sure correct form, am a forigner) broad beans 2 weeks ago. They've gone nuts and now are 10 cm long. What do I do now: put them in bigger pots or just wait until it's warm enough outside to plant them in the garden. Which is when btw?

This article suggests you could plant out now. I've just sown mine in the greenhouse, so slightly behind you! If you are worried, you could transfer and plant out when weather a bit more reliable...

will they not get upset it iF put them into a bigger pot and then out in the garden in a few weeks?

Also i read something about 'leggy plants' - when they too cosy inside ( i have all seeds on the kitchen table) and shoot up too quickly.

Maybe I'll start putting them outside for a few hous a day (I read this article on hardening the plants - it's like letting you childen go!)

You can overwinter them apparently so could put them out now. I planted mine out at the weekend but I'm keeping an eye on the forecast so I can chuck a blanket over them if there's a frost (they don't like frosts according to my mum).

Your plants will go leggy if you grow them inside on the kitchen table. They will need to spend all the daylight hours outside or on a window sill at least.
'Leggy' mean that they will be straining for the light, growing very soft and sappy. When plants like this are planted out they usually rot at the stem because they can't cope with the new hard life.

My broad beans which I planted in November are all gone - not sure if it's birds or frosts. I'm going to plant again this weekend.

I've had some overwintering and have just planted some more directly outside. They should be fine to plant out. Just keep an eye out in case of any really hard frosts and cover them up for the night if necessary.
