On my bit of flat roof, I have:
Potatoes
Parsnips (the cat ate the original ones so i bunged the lot of them outside the front door and now they're about 6" high!)
Last years strawberry runners
3 for a fiver raspberries but only 2 left (dp chucked on because it was "dead Hmm)
Onions
Peas and sweetpeas interplanted - and next doors kids ("garden" is open plan) have been warned to check before eating the pods

Carrots and aubergines will go in soon. i can't have a greenhouse because I literally have a 9'x9' square of flat roof on top of some shops, but my folks bought us a raised bed and associated covers for Christmas. Because it's so low to the ground and has a rounded top the wind doesn't seem to affect it too much. And, it's got a wooden base so pretty heavy!
