Where can I find smart containers (pref on-line)?

I need to re-pot my small Olive trees and can't find anything much I like at local nurseries/garden centres.

Does anyone know a good internet supplier, ideally not too expensive?

TIA

I'd stump up the cash for a trip to the Italian Terrace, and say they're your Christmas presents! I have my lemon and olive in these:

I've never found a supplier of consistently good cheap pots.

Hi G'sMum, they are great!
I'd need the larger size though and I think DH would think I was barking if I asked him to spend over £300 on two plant pots....

Have you used anywhere else which is half decent?

Ah, mine are in the smaller size, so not too horrendous as presents. We did get two really big pots from there as wedding presents, though, and they look smashing on the patio.

I've got some really nice ones from Errington Reay, but they might be expensive for big pots too.

I saw some absolutely stunning planters the other week which I can only guess were mock lead, but I've got no idea where they came from.

I'm planning to try planting up an old horse trough(?? might be an old water tank used as a horse trough??), so you could go down that route.

But didn't Porridge have a tip about good places to buy pots somewhere near Norwich?

How are you, by the way? Hope you're well and the house is going well.

Thanks for the suggestions, will check out Errington Ray too.
I need two matching pots really rather than a trough - we were given the two Olive trees in pots as wedding presents but the pots broke last winter, which is a shame.

Porridge's tip was for a nursery I think but will do an archive search.

All ok here thanks, lots going on with the house, the garden taking a back seat at the moment due to lack of time/money.

How about you, how are all your projects going? Havent bumped into you much on here of late...

Hello! I've been feeling a bit knackered / taken up with other things lately. I should be pressing on with the rest of the house, but really would rather work on my own more creative projects rather than oversee building work, atm. Putting the planning applications in I find quite mentally tiring at the end of a day's work. However, building work starts again in three weeks time...

The garden's ticking over quite nicely, though - my bulbs have finally arrived and I'm now rushing to make the most of the last few warm days to get them in. Found myself planting allium sphaerocephalon in the dusk, this evening!

What've you decided to do about the kitchen layout?

A new possibility (don't know how much they cost, but we have them in a Schools' Garden, so can't be too pricey.)
