Have neglected my blueberries this year - how can I save them?

Have 3 bushes - birthday present from DH last year.
They did well in pots on the patio in the sun, with regular watering.

This summer we had to move them temporarily down the garden to a shadier area while we had building work done.

One is OK - lots of fruit etc.
Other two are very spindly and whatever fruit there was has withered away .

Q: What should I do? Should I leave them then cut them back at the end of summer and pump lots of Ericaecous (sp?) feeder in them then, or is there anything I can do NOW to save/help them?

I think if you cut back you won't get much fruit next year, but it may help with the regrowth in the longer term. Definately feed them up with a good food for fruiting plants. I was told blueberries are actually a bog growing plant so like their feet very wet.

I think I would be tempted to give them a very light trim now with an ericaceous feed. Get the into the sun and keep them well watered with rainwater, then after the feed put some pine needles as a mulch on the soil.
