Full Coed school or boys school with coed 6th form?

Hi everyone,
DD, Y11, currently in single-sex independent school in London, has offers for coed sixth forms: 1 for a boys school with coed 6th form and 2 for a fully coed schools.
Do you think it will be easier to make friends and settle down if all the girls arrive at the same time? (this is what my daughter feels) or reversely could it feel awkward to have girls arriving among a majority of boys?
Are there any parent out there whose DDs had experience changing from singlesex to one of these options for 6th form? any regrets or warnings? thanks for your help!

@Jigglycat Im with your DD. All new together. Not if the other schools are significantly better academically though. It can be quite tough changing schools. New routine, teachers, dc etc.

For the boys' school I would try to speak to a girl currently in the sixth form. Or somebody who has left recently because they may be more truthful.

From experience, five years of male-only existence can turn some of them into misogynists.

My Dd changed from all girls to a boys school with a mixed 6th form. It was definitely easy to make friends as all the girls were in the same boat from many different schools. I don’t think there was any down side to it.

Thank you so much for your responses, it's really helpful!
We're be attending the offer holder evening at the boys school tomorrow, so will be able to speak to (girl) students & teachers. DD also knows several girls from her school joining (as well as some "bigger sisters" of friends who attend), so that should help.
NB. the boys school is strongest of the 3 academically.

@flourypotato What all of them? Unlikely.

I didn't say "all"; I carefully said "some".
It only takes a few bad apples and teachers not being on top of it to spoil the barrel.
