6th form for high achiever but not self-started

Hi,
DD (Y11) wants to change from single-sex to coed school next year, public or private. Looking around S, (SW, SE) and central london. She's got good predicted grades (seven 9s, two 8s, + a grade 9 that she took early). She wants to do well academically, but she's not a self-starting student, and hasn't done any extras stuff (volunteering or school captain / rep thing..). She probably wants only STEM subjects for A levels.
Any recommendations for that sort of student? thanks!

Are you at state or private already?

How far does she want to travel?
Which STEM subjects?

She's in private (open to both for 6th form, was in state s in primary). Willing to travel up to 50/60min door to door.
STEM: Math, Phy, Chem (+FM if results will allow)

WLFS will be worth a look. They only offer A levels so there are 30-40 places available to new students, and plenty of those are switching from the private sector. Short walk from Hammersmith station. Open evenings are next week.

King's Maths School would work if she ditched the Chemistry for FM

Thanks!
I will have a look at WLFS!
King's Maths School looks wonderful, but I it might be a stretch for her..

Generally I think FM's done as a 4th A level - my DS1 went to an 11-16 school and all his 6th form applications were for the same set of subjects including Maths and Further Maths. The 6th form he chose encourages all students to try a 4th subject in the 1st year, and I think they previously did AS levels. The other college which he was most seriously considering until he really had to make up his mind (and then some) I think encourages most students to take 3 subjects and an EPQ unless they are doing FM. In both places students study Maths in year 12 and FM in year 13, whereas non FM students do Maths over 2 years and this is common, but I understand there are places where students do both Maths and FM over 2 years at the same time.

I don't know anything about Kings Maths School but I don't think most places would encourage studying Further Maths instead of Chemistry as one of 3 subjects.

We're in north London so most of the places DS1 looked at are probably a bit far for your DD. City and Islington 6th form and the Kingsway part of Westminster Kingsway might be doable via transport connections - northern edges of central London, but your DD might prefer a school linked 6th form. My DS1 had a panic at the start of term that maybe he'd made the wrong choice by the very large 6th form that's part of a secondary school, rather than the separate 6th form only college with a highflying academic reputation. Both seem to get a lot of very good results but DS1 was concerned about whether he'd get enough support at the college (which he didn't choose in the end), compared to his old school.

Thanks @elkiedee , I will have a look at City and Islington, and the Kingsway. I heard the same re. Maths / FM as a 4th subject, and the y12- y13 teaching organisation .
