Integrated masters - Scotland

Trying to find some fee information. DC is thinking of doing an integrated masters. We live in Scotland and DC is looking at a Scottish university course. I can’t see any specific info on fees for these courses so am assuming that the first four “undergraduate” years are covered and the fee for the final year is at the relevant masters rate for the course. Can anyone tell me if this is correct?

No - all 5 years will be covered. Under saas funding you can access up to 5 years funding to get through your ‘first’ degree. This could be made up of a years college then 4 years of an undergraduate degree, or in the case of your DC 5 years on an integrated masters.

Often the masters will come with a higher entry tariff - if any doubt apply for the bachelors - you can normally transfer onto the masters if you do well in 1st year (or 2nd).

Thanks for this. My DC has the entry grades to get on to the masters option in the first instance though I know their grades have to meet a certain standard during the course to be able to remain on that level.
