Flash card apps

Can anyone suggest a really good (free preferably but not essential) flash card app. My DS has started 6th form and is really knuckling down to work. He wants to make flash cards but as he has dysgraphia they need to be typed. There are lots of apps available but I don't want him to waste time making cards and finding out the app is a bit rubbish. Or any tips on other ways or websites that might help.

We home Ed and use Quizlet daily.

Can you use Quizlet to make your own flash cards? I looked at it for GCSEs but thought they were already done. He wants to turn his notes into flash cards to revise from but if he hand writes them it will take ages and be illegible!

We buy cards from Whsmiths and copy them out. Takes ages but makes it more personalised. The CGP flash cards were very wordy and didn't sink in.

Anki. The choice of most Medical students 😊

Anki is meant to be the best one hands down.

I love the study tips on Thomas Frank's youtube site too.
