I took my daughter out of school to be be home schooled in year 11, due to health problems. She was prepare to sit her GCSE at an outside centre but due to covid was unable.
We have just tried to enrol her at our local college to sit her A levels but the college have told us that she must complete her GCSE first because he doesn't have the schools predictions.
Does anyone else home school and have that they had this problem?
It seems discriminatory that er peers are being allowed to enrol.

It's not discriminatory. Without GCSEs, - and the right GCSEs at the right grades - no-one is admitted to 6th form.

However, your question about how other pupils who have been Home Educated, can evidence their grades, might be answered in the Home Ed part of Education. Obviously there is a significant number of people across the country who will have been affected - that board would probably be able to give you the most knowledgeable answers.

Are the November exams any use to help with this?
