BTEC IT Level 3 stuck on question and tutor absent.

Dd's college tutor is unwell and unlikely to be in this week.
Dd is totally stuck and stressing out about the question below and to be fair, neighbour noise of building work and piano playing is not helping the situation as my mind went to mush reading it too.

Can anyone with a clear head help please?

Analyse how the implementation and design of mobile apps is affected by the intended user, current technologies and the purpose of the app.

Perhaps start with who / what / where / when / why and think about how different answers might affect app design. Does it need to be particularly easy to read, hear or use? Is precision more important than speed of response? Security? Where is the data you input going?

I'd advise she writes or bullet points a brain dump of ideas and it will gradually make sense.

I'd say that the app designers take into account how intended users use the app once it's become available. The number of times I've seen changes made to an app every few months to update it, or to improve it never ceases to amaze me. That can be improvements to a game app where certain features can then run better, or updates to banking apps etc.

As technology advances, so will possibilities. One example is Pokemon Go. (Although I know they based their tech off of a previous game by niantic, for the life of me I can't remember what it is).

I'm no IT expert but hope this helps)

Designers will also often have beta versions and get people to test them out before they finalise. That way they can have feedback and see how the apps do/don't get used

It's basically asking her to take an example real or imagined app and explain how and why it was built the way it was - because of what its users wanted/needed, because of the technologies available, because of what it's meant to do. She could choose WhatsApp or Fitbit or anything and break it down.

Thank you so much for your replies, they have been a massive help to my dd and she has now got a piece of work outlined. Flowers
