family allowance question

My 18 year old DD is starting a Foundation, Art, Design & Media BTEC Diploma course at college next week. I've rang the family allowance office and informed them that she is staying in full time education for another year. They asked me what level the course is as if it's a level 3 she won't qualify for family allowance any more. I've no idea what level it is until I get hold of them next week.
Has anyone else's Teen done this course that could help me.

Does the college website tell you what level it is?

From a quick google there seem to be a few courses with a simalar sounding name but all at Level 3 link

If it is a Level 3 then you should still get Child Benefit, if it is Level 4 or higher you won't. link

Agree these are usually level 3 so you should get it for one more year.

I think BTEC is a level 3 qualification the same as A-Levels.

You can do Btec at various levels so it doesn't necessarily mean its a level 3.
I have taught Btec foundation and it was level 1 or 2 then the students went onto normal Btec that was level 3

It should say on the website or in the college brochure, sometimes they are colour coordinated for each level to make it easier to find.

Ring the college - ask for student services, these depts normally are open during the holidays.
