DS1 wants to become a psychiatrist yet isn't good at science.

He planned to take A level english, history, psychology and either maths or sociology. I've just looked up which A levels are needed in order to take the degree and it says at least 1 science.

He's been unsure of what to aim for and this has put a spanner in the works.

Any advice?

Family member clin psych & has lots of trainees and says quite possible without science A levels. You would exclude some but far from all unis for undergrad. Once you have BPS accredited degree you’re eligible for post grad, hard as that is
