Who do I go to when MHS fail?

We moved into our current quarter in May and have problem after problem, we've put complaints in and things have just got to me so much now I'm sat here crying.

I've just been speaking to a guy at MHS helpdesk about a letter I received this morning saying an issue we'd complained about has been resolved and asked for an update on the other complaints that their complaints manager was dealing with, he'd promised me, in a conversation weeks ago, that he'd sort out compensation for all the stress and hassle we've been put through and it would be 'a cheque rather than the standard missed appointment voucher'. The guy I spoke to today said he'd check what was on the system, put me on hold for a good few minutes, came back and said 'there's nothing on the system about any compensation'.

That'll be why the complaints manager 'isn't in the office today'/ 'is just on another call, I'll get him to call you back'/ 'is in a meeting at the moment' for the last few weeks then, because he fed me bullshit to shut me up and has no intention of following it up.

Who do I go to next? Is there a step above MHS?
The families officer told DH 'if you have an issue, your wife will have to go to the meeting on the last thursday of the month'
But I work thursdays, I only get 8 days holiday, I don't see why I should have to waste one being fed the same crap face to face as I can get over the phone!?

I'm so sick of it all, and there's still problems and faults that I don't want to report as I can't face more hassle!

whoops, wrong DH - that was Mark Phillips.

Hehe, slightly wrong.
At least tim Lawerence is Navy,so maybe a more sympathetic ear being in the same branch.
Hope you get a good outcome anyway.

Lol Lucie!

Princess Anne has connections with DH's regiment.... hmmm.... I feel a plan coming on....

Feel I should be about your floor Lucie but I can very well believe it. That in itself just shows how bad it is, when you can read peoples experiences and believe and sympathise with them, too many of us in the same shit situation.

FourArms, is that a sad face in your post or you holding your breath waiting for the new heating!?

The tech officer called yesterday and he had a huge rant about 'what they need to do is replace all the bathrooms and kitchens on that estate, but instead they just throw the money down the drain on shoddy patch up jobs' says a lot doesnt it!?

Our bathroom was crap and the bath safety handle on the side has broken off (DH did it!) so was left with extremely sharp edges. I complained saying it was too dangerous for the kids and had to wrap a flannel over over each time I bathed them and I asked for a new bath. 6 months later they said they would have to order a white one (our suite was champagne coloured). I suggested they buy a whole new white suite rather than having the loo, bidet and sink in champagne and the bath in white and they said "oh no we'd never do that - it's too expensive". We never got the bath before we moved..........don't think anyone is living in our old quarter - it'd be cheapoer to knock it down tbh.
Okay - sorry I'm hijacking the thread with MHS horror stories - breathe!
