the museum is great, lots of free indoor space to run DS round when its raining! planes and helicopters a bit incidental really, but enjoyed the airshow. DS terrified by noisy red arrows, but DD slept through it!

OracleInaCoracle · 06/07/2009 11:04

lol, we did toy with the idea of going to the airshow this year but decided against!

They scared him coming in fast low and loud from behind him, he got his revenge by happily declaring, aeroplanes draw rainbow!

VanillaPumpkin · 12/08/2009 19:43

My DH is a PTI. I live on camp. Are we neighbours ?
My dd's are 6 and 4 so we are possibly mixing in different circles as I think your dc are younger???
Hope you are enjoying it here anyway .

Yorky · 12/08/2009 21:25

Now you've got me thinking a couple of friends have 4yr old DDs....

Lissie and I are meeting on Fri am if you want to join us - as you face the 3 big houses we are opposite the one on your right

VanillaPumpkin · 13/08/2009 14:03

I can walk to yours from mine without needing to show a pass . What time? I am supposed to be getting a birthday present but that can wait till the afternoon. I would have dd's in tow though.....If ok can you tell me the colour car......? There are two houses opposite if I recall correctly???

How exciting!

OracleInaCoracle · 13/08/2009 18:32

Look for the pram in the porch, about 10-1030 ish. No problems with DDs, would they rather play with babies or on the trampoline?!

VanillaPumpkin · 14/08/2009 08:37

Babies or trampoline.....hmm. Probably one of each .

Looking forward to seeing you later . How exciting!

OracleInaCoracle · 14/08/2009 15:22

Thank you ladies for a fun morning. Sorry for my moody girls . Have had mass tantrums from dd1 this afternoon so she is either overtired or going to be ill

It was lovely to meet you and your lovely children . Hope to see you again.

OracleInaCoracle · 14/08/2009 21:53

Vanilla, thats nowt. ds had a major meltdown on the way home, kicking, sobbing, screaming "i hate you mummy"... the joy!

had a really lovely time hope dd1 is ok. are you coming to the midlands picnic?

OP posts:
VanillaPumpkin · 15/08/2009 10:15

That little angel! I don't believe you . He was a joy when I met him.

Hadn't planned on the picnic. I always said I wouldn't do meet ups but this one was too good (and convenient ) to miss and I am very glad to have met you all .

OracleInaCoracle · 15/08/2009 15:20

aw, thats lovely. same here. we had such a lovely time (am in awe of yorky's jam tarts) hope you do come, it should be fun.

re ds, he really was terrible. i half expected an AIBU thread on here about us. first time i have just had to walk away from him

OP posts:
Yorky · 15/08/2009 22:05

Glad you both had a nice time. Most people go in fear of the jam tarts as they were only made to see if cooking the jam made it set!
Sorry we kept your DDs from the park Vanilla!
Would love to meet up again now DS is back from my parents - we'll soon show you how good your DS is Lissie!

OracleInaCoracle · 16/08/2009 12:53
