..because DH is coming home today? I haven't seen him for 13 weeks, and have only spoken to him for 45 minutes during that time!

...and the labrador as well plus the Volvo. Careful Lapin, you'll go native! I wondered why I hadn't seen you posting on here much recently; now I know!!

I am chairman (I am not a piece of furniture)of the Youth Club at the British school here; which means I maintain my reputation as a scary (ex) teacher, as I kick the sixth formers around if they don't do enough to earn their ?30 per session.

We have a Landy too - but also a Japanese sports car and a cat (how common!!!)

But when you are truly posh you can do what you like

Scootergrrrl · 27/11/2008 14:48

We have the Landy, pretend Lab (mongrel with aspirations...) and I have pearls - however, it's all cancelled out by the fact I keep running late in the mornings and taking DD to school in my pajama top and jeans

hf128219 · 27/11/2008 14:49

Save the hassle of getting dressed in the mornings by sleeping in your day clothes/full make up (minus the mascara)

Scootergrrrl · 27/11/2008 14:58

Surely one's twinset and pearls would get creased...?

scaryteacher · 27/11/2008 15:05

I threatened dh with Volvo - got the Saab I wanted. He has a Range Rover, glider for towing of; for Naval orifices recreational purposes.

No pets, but a 13 yo ds (which counts as hell hound at times).

The twin set would crease, but the tweed skirt and brogues would be OK.

Ooh, post your pic then, or is it online somewhere?

hf128219 · 27/11/2008 17:01

Ah but with the twin set creased one could pretend that your stable hand had let you down and you had to muck out the horses that morning.

Scootergrrrl · 27/11/2008 17:48

The blighter! What do you have to do to get decent help these days? (am practising cross voice for tomorrow morning...)

hf128219 · 27/11/2008 18:05

Lapin - is that the Aug/Sept edition??

It's funny though I sometimes post things one here forgetting it is a public internet forum - and then think why did I do that?!
