Got the dress at last

Well I have finally bought my dress for the summer ball.

I am now really nervous after reading another thread saying dont go for this type of dress - what do you all think - is it too OTT? I am sure that most of the ladies wear this kind of dress for the ball?

I am so worried - i normally just wear a long straight evening dress but this is very different!

its the netting that worries me big time!!

Dress looks fab.

I'm sure I could get away with wearing my wedding dress dyed a different colour...

I've been known to rip out some netting half way through when too pissed to care anymore.

Shoes - must be comfy.

Or take a pair of ballet pumps for when it all gets too much, or you'll end up barefoot (well, I always do!)

I usually take pair of hubbys artic socks and put on whilst at table as always get cold feet! Then slip on killer shoes later once drinks are a flowing!!

The dress is amazing!

Dress is gorgeous - very elegant.

Dress is fab, doesn't look flouncy at all..(will now go and bin my Monsoon fuschia one with netting and full skirt!)
