I've just been told by my lovely but rather vague boyfriend that we are going to a summer ball this evening - he's going to be in mess dress and I have to wear a dress below the knee - how fr below is suitable and how dressed up should I be - obviuosly this is a first for m so any help very gratefully received!!!

Luckily managed to keep my clothes on this time - just need to make sure I'm wearing something that requires a lot of undoing so by the time I've tried I will hopefully have given up on the idea, or fallen over again

Also the sight of me naked is enough of strike fear into the hearts of even the most hardened soldier

I could invite you all when my dh takes up as CO in September.

LL - my DH is on a carrier, if it's the same one your sister is joining we might end up at the same ball.

Yes we should! I keep saying to LL we should meet up. Am useless at the moment though, have morning, noon and night sickness. He always maniges to miss this most magical part of pregnancy
