Are we entitled to any help with school fee's?

Hello, I know its a tad premature as ds is not even 1 yet but im trying to find out where we stand with school fee's/forces discounts.

We are currently living in MQ but the plan is for myself and ds to move back to our home town in time for him to start Pre-School/school.

Because of the cost of buying a house etc we are starting to plan (and save) now so that when the times comes we are ready.

Im a SAHM and ds attends day nursery 2 afternoons per week at the moment.

There is a day school that we would like ds to attend. I know about the Early Years Funding but what happens once he turns 5?

If he was already 5 the annual fee for Pre-Prep are £6,993. They offer %10 discount for Armed Forces.

I've heard about CEA but not really sure if we would qualify, is there anything else that we would qualify for?

The main point about CEA is to be married accompanied. So if you don't follow the flag you won't qualify.

Yes tis true about the boarding .

You have to be married accompanied and mobile to claim CEA.

It is only awarded from age 7.

They have to board for the first year, then if they go as a day pupil the school has to have boarding provision in case your DH gets drafted/posted as you have to go with him.

They pay a termly award which is fixed, and you have to make up the difference between the CEA and the fees as well as paying all the extras eg uniform, music lessons, trips, etc.

once one child has it, all other siblings qualify once they reach the age of 7, without having to board for a year
