My DH is away now until next year, this is not our first deployment by a long shot so I'm more than used to it. I'm just totally falling apart and I don't know why. We have 2 ds 1 with special needs who's been struggling with meds, I work full time and I'm shattered,ds1 hasn't been sleeping because of the meds and is playing up massively ds2 is only 15 months and is hitting the terrible 2's early. It's just all getting too much, I'm not sure what's different this time. Someone tell me to man the heck up !!!

Man the heck up? No, I won't say that! You are exhausted, sleep deprived and two DCs that add up to a massive drain on your energy. Don't know what to say to help in practical terms but give yourself a break, I would feel the same I am sure x

Hi jnl0612, have you tried phoning AFF /SAFFA for help? Also the base I live on they have a Sure Start thing where someone will come and help you out for a couple of hours a week. Do you have any patch friends who could come round for a few hours on the weekend to watch the children so you could have a nap for a bit? You poor thing, totally feel for you. Is your Welfare team any good? Even speaking to them they may have resources to help you. Just don't feel you have to do it all by yourself. I like the man up talk, round our way it is known as "suck it up buttercup" charming!

www.home-start.org.uk/ may be able to help by sending someone to give you a break/have a chat.
