Hi everyone! Just to say that the AFF has joined to help with any queries or concerns you may have with Army family life. We'd love to hear from you wherever you are, UK and overseas and whoever you are, spouse, fiance, parent, grandparent, sibling, GF/BF...all extended family of a soldier!

I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you about our annual AFF Grab survey. We need to find out about how you feel about your life as an Army family so that we can represent your views to Army command and politicians.

With drastic spending cuts affecting jobs, housing and all aspects of Army life please use this opportunity to provide AFF with evidence to campaign on your behalf. It will only take about 10 minutes to complete and it is anonymous (we've had over 1,700 responses so far!) - www.surveymonkey.com/s/AFF_Grab_2012

I look forward to being a part of this forum :)

I will volunteer Snaplegs unless you only want women? He will help if need an opposite view Wink

MrsSnaplegs · 28/06/2012 21:18

As in a male SAHP supporting a female service person Wink

Count me in. RAF wife who earns more. Ongoing issues with the fact that I work does not make them give a shit.

We/he would be entitled to a larger house if I left him.

madwomanintheattic · 28/06/2012 22:27

I wanted chaps as well tbh. Acknowledged minority, rather than ignored entirely, and all that... Being qualitative and not quant has enormous benefits. Grin

I can't even begin to unravel that, Norma, but vaguely remember a housing thread of yore... Look forward to hearing more!

Will pm you all in the very near future.

madwomanintheattic · 28/06/2012 22:28

I think I ought to start a new thread so I don't derail AFF's further. Blush feel free to drop by!

foxymalone · 14/07/2012 12:17

madwoman also happy to help. DEF go against stereotypes in this house. Not least because I have child, career and am the earner...hth...

Devilforasideboard · 14/07/2012 22:54

I'm happy to help too. Have a career and no children and really struggle to fit in with the crowd.
