Sorry for the dull thread, but i'm trying to work out how to save money and every little helps! So my question.....

DD likes to take a jelly in her packed lunchbox, i've been buying the ready made pots but want to stop as they're very expensive. What could I make up jelly in so that she can still take it to school? Would a tiny tuppaware pot covered in clingfilm work or would that just end up everywhere? Maybe I could find small lidded tuppaware pots? any idea where from?

I have some little pots from Wilkinsons which have clip fastenings on the side. I haven't tried them with jelly but I think it would work as the seal is pretty tight. There are lots of different sizes and I'm sure the smallest are well under £1
Its a good idea and I think I'll give it a go.

I got some little pots from the pound shop and they have clips around the outside.

We have jeely with fruit cocktail, I get the fruit cocktail at the bootom of the shelf unitl in sainsbury.

i buy a big bag of sultanas and put thoses in another smaller pot and also get a big tub of yogurt and put two desserts spoons in a pot - this is cheaper than the large pots or even the small pots as then I get to have some yogurt aswell

I've got mini Tupperware pots that I used to have packed lucnh items in myself, at secondary school . THey've lasted over 20 years!

We've got these which are fabbo. Can be used as little jelly pots, or can be turned out as mini jellies. This is not a bad price for 6 methinks (mine didn't come from this website, I just googled 'mini jelly moulds').

i have those but they can leak - so don't use them for pack ups

Oh, mine are OK. If they're good and set and the lids are on properly they're OK I reckons.
