I have a jug of juices which have turned in to a jelly from all the yummy bits and a layer of oil on the top, which I will get rid of. What can I use the jelly for and how long can I keep it for??

Freeze it.

Risotto.
Soup.
Gravy.
Reheating meat so it doesn't dry out.
Sauces.

That oil bit will be easier to get rid of if you keep it in fridge, it will harden up then you can scrape it off.

That's great - thank you Slinky!

I use the oil to fry onions, then add cooked fresh spaghetti and some leftover chicken. Then soy and some gravy... stir-fry chicken noodles... voila!

if you freeze it make sure you label it.
we've done it with pork, turkey, beef etc and it's really hard to tell what's what after a while!

agree with freezing it
but it's also lovely to use when freshly done to toss your veggies in esp.kenyan beans
