Suggestions for easy, portable dessert please?

Am off to SILs 40th bday on Monday and I am meant to be taking a dessert along. I need to make it the day/night before as we have an early start and it needs to travel.

Any ideas? Needs to be simple as I don't have much prep time either!

Brownies? Could you take some ice cream to go with them?

I love brownies, but it is going to be buffet style so would ideally prefer to do something that can be served alone (rather then trying to fiddle with ice cream too).

white chocolate cheesecake - transport in the tin, make the day before to chill overnight and it causes RIOTS everytime I make it

lemon cheescake

usual biscuit base (can add ginger bics if you like)

for topping mix medium size thing dbl cream (284ml?) with tin condensed milk. Add lemon juice slowly which will thicken (2 to 3 lemons juiced)
pour on top base, chill for at least half hour up to couple days
yummy yummy takes 10 mins max to make, bout the same for me to eat

Dizzy's white choc cheesecake is fab - even folk that dont like white choc love it. Can decorate with raspberries once there.

Honestly!!! I love cooking, but tend to go for the same few "specialities" - tried the white choc about 18 months ago and never looked back! Sometimes make it in wee ramekin dishes too which is nice, as I dont like "serving" things at dinner parties - as I always make a balls of it, and it would end up looking like roadkill on a plate

Thanks Geordie, I find the trick is to omit telling people how easy it is to make so one continues to look like a genius!!!

Glad it's works out as well for you too x
